New player wanting to try out SH

I play 15/30 and 20/40 full ring and I was thinking of trying out SH. Does anyone have any tips before I get started? I saw a post with a preflop starting hand chart. I figured that would be a good start for preflop play. Reading posts on this board would help with postflop strategy.

(BTW, in the starting hand chart, do the "facing a raise columns", under MP, CO, Button mean facing a raise while in that position, or facing a raise from that position?)

do research. read the board frequently. use the search tool. go through old posts. you can soak up a lot of info this way.

Watch the recent video threads and the corresponding posts.

The starting hand charts miss alot of iso raising etc,

Facing a raise while in that position, just because its an UTG raise might not count for much if the player is a complete LAG
