2/4 AA

PokerStars 2/4.

Unknown opens in MP1 and I 3-bet from the BB with AA. He calls and we're HU to the flop.

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I bet and he calls.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I bet, he raises, I 3-bet and he calls.

River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I bet, he raises, I 3-bet

I intend to call a cap and kill myself.

(I'd love to help you out but no one on this forum will respond to any of Jason's 2/4 hands anymore. We all decided. Sorry.)

Nobody invited me to the meeting.

I dunno...I just call the river raise, but I suspect that I'm missing bets in situations like this. I could definitely see JJ or TT taking a similar line (and it's not outside the realm of reason that he'd open with A8s), so I really don't want to face a river cap here.

Way to go from nit to spewgod j/k

I'm with Harv, I'm just calling this river raise. JJ, 1010, and A8 are all very possible. You may be against AA, KK, or QQ but no cap preflop would tend to lead otherwise.

Those are some serious raises from a guy with A10, AJ, or even J10.

Anything else you put him on when you 3 bet teh river? And what were your thoughts?

He could play JT this way, easily. He won't cap with it though.

the only things i could possibly see you ahead of are JT, KK, or QQ, and i think they are all long-shots

Re: 2/4 AA

Questions:

1) PokerStars?

2) 2/4?

3) How do you feel so confident in putting him on exactly TPGK or JT?

1) Bonus.
2) Meh.
3) I'm ahead of a lot of hands.
