are these both really clear raises? Im on a bit of a downswing and i feel like im missing alot of valuebet\raises and folding way too much to check\raises here is a couple from today

Preflop: I think it's either raise or fold here, which depends on UTG's pfr%. If he's a loose raiser I'd 3bet, if he's tight I'd fold.

hand 1: it doesn't seem like UTG is too bright, you only need to fear 66 or 77, and the way you played the hand means he may not think you have a jack. you're closing the action so i think you should cap the river.

hand 2: fold preflop. easy check-call on the river the way you played it.

Id call the cap in the first and would have folded pf in the second.

as with most responses, i say easy cap the river in hand 1.

hand 2 is a fold PF at the 1/3 blind structure. At 1/2 it's a closer call. Once you've called i'd donk the turn and when raised, check-call the river. That said, someone said to c/r the turn, but i'm too scared to do that [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]
