NL50 Bet this river?

Moved up finally -))

Party NL50, 6-handed.

I'm running all over the table, potting all the flops where I am pfr, and taking it 90% of the time. My stats are like 30/15.

All fold to me in CO and I open for 2$ with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Only the BB(~50$,I cover) calls and flop is

A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (~4$)

I bet 3 (me usual CB), he calls

Turn (~10$) brick - He checks, I bet 8.

River (~26) brick - He checks, I bet 25.

Do I get a call from AJ - A10 here with my image? or should I just check, after all I have only TPTK?

You can't fold if he raises his last $12. You need some kind of read that he's terrible, especially when the table is so tight that you're only getting action one time in 10.

Without a read like that, I check behind on the turn.

Check the turn with TPTK here???

I cant think of a single reason to do that...

The question was about river bet...

Yeah, that was from memory so the 25 bet puts villian allinh

I like it. Although, i would probably bet less on the river. When you pot this river, he may very well fold some of his weaker aces, but may call if you bet something like $15.

You may think about checking the turn simply for pot control. General advice: you will generally win small pots with TPTK, and lose the big ones.

I usually check the turn on complete blanks. It will give the villan a chance to bluff at the river and keep the pot smaller.

What if villan c/r all in on the turn? Checking minimizes these decisions.

don't put too much reliance behind your table image. alot of tight players still won't adjest. as you played it i'm checking behind no the river. given that these players are tight its not likely he stayed along withought a good ace. I like a check behind on the turn much better as well. Here's why, you continue bet most flops. a check behind on the tunr tells him you missed the flop. He then becomes more likely to bet the river, so you can call that. If he checks on the river he might think you are stealing and call a value bet with more hands so it makes a value bet better to check the turn

EDIT, didn't realize this was 6 max, image matters more so this looks ok to me, simetimes i'll do this and sometimes i'll check turn.

I really prefer betting the turn and checking the river in almost all situations. Make him pay to hit his kicker.

I think the best line is to bet the turn. Mason is with me here. I think i shouldev just check the river too.

Anyways, the guy had A 8 for a flopped 2 pair... And he thought for a long time before calling -))

Party50 is full of wussies -))
