50/100 - QQ in EP, capped pre-flop

Edit:

Villain is 15/7/2

I raised QQ in EP, MP cold calls, Villain 3-bets, i cap, MP folds, Villain calls.

Flop A 8 3 rainbow.

I bet he calls

Turn J

I bet he calls

River J

I bet he calls

Edit: Clearly my River bet is a mistake, but I just noticed afterwards =)

Why? Do you think he is checking KK behind after you check?

He sure as [censored] isn't checking an A behind.

I suppose you could check/fold against a 15/7, but I don't think that would be very good for your metagame.

If villain doesn't 3-bet 99 preflop here, your turn equity is ~22%. I'm check-folding. If he can 3-bet 99, my turn bet is the last of my money going into the pot. After all, how could he possibly call the turn with TT-99? Against your capping range on this board his equity is 4.4%! (Unless you cap liberally with suited Broadway connectors, but doing that against a 15/7/2 is pretty awful IMO.)

I agree your river bet is terrible.

Turn bet isn't too hot either.

The more I think about it, the more I agree the turn bet sucks. Check/fold.

The only hands I can picutre OP being ahead of here are 99 and TT. We can't even be sure 99 would 3 bet pre flop so mostly TT. If that's the case, we are only a 4-1 dog to his range of hands, and the pot is laying 6-1. However, adjust this for how villain would play the flop with 99 or TT.

You capped pre flop against 2 players. You almost certainly have a premium hand, (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK). After that flop, what hands can villain put you on that he beats? Pretty much nothing. He's a standard TAG. If he does have TT or 99, he almost certainly folds the flop. Adjusting your 4-1 odds against his pre flop hand range according to his flop play, and you're probably closer to a 40-1 dog (or worse) against his revised range. Give up and move on.

What does the '2' stand for in 15/7/2? Thanks.
