coinflips w/ stack

more theory question than anything i guess
do you feel inclined to call pushes when you have AK and your playing well + have a stack..
i have a tendency to get in alot of coinflips when do well at a table.. and i end up breaking even or up alot of money..

anyone else do the same or think im an idiot?

I don't mind a coin flip if I am fairly sure the enemy can't have AA or KK given the action. Calling allins preflop with AK from 100bb stacks is a big variance play. I am usually looking at the flop trying to make a hand. The whole point of this game is to get in situations where you are 4-1 to win with all the money in. Otherwise we can go to the casino and play baccarat or passline craps to flip a coin for all the money.
