I don't know if the preflop cap is any good. His PFR was a bit too high, but I didn't have too much hands on him.
On the river it seemed like he either has QQ or JJ, maybe a scared QK? So should I just check-fold?
Do you think I can ever fold out QQ-JJ?

Of course it's good. Your hand has tons of equity over his hand range given his preflop numbers.

I assume you're just being results oriented. The bet is easy. Even Ace-high will call down a bunch on this board if he's 35/28. It's either bet/fold or bet/call depending on the specific player and other specifics.
