raise more on flop??

Re: 1/2 NL
I hate/hate/hate mini-raising. Don't do it. You're giving draws the odds to go for them and costing yourself chips as well.
Raise more on the flop. |
Re: 1/2 NL
Newbie question: What's the rationale behind raising the flop? Aren't you afraid of running into a flopped flush?
|
Re: 1/2 NL

And if he was really a loose cannon, I think I'd have done the same heh. |

Newbie question: What's the rationale behind raising the flop? Aren't you afraid of running into a flopped flush? [/ QUOTE ] here's my opinion. I want to raise pre flop becuase i have a good pre flop equity advantage with say, AA. I want people with inferior hands who will easily get dominated to call. As for someone flopping a complete, it happens, that's poker. For example, let's say you didnt raise preflop with AA and you get 5 callers. and flop comes all clubs. Now, with 5 other players in the hand, the likelihood of one of them either flopping a flush or a flush draw is higher than had you raised and gotten only 2 callers. |
Re: 1/2 NL
hes talking about my raise on the flop
