Multi-table tournaments = +ev?

$10/20 6-max player. Tournaments +ev? If so, what stakes and what kinda bankroll do I need?

first...you need to be a decent tournament player. beating the 10/20 6-max game means you are a reasonably smart poker-player....but it doesn't mean you are a winning tournament player (yet)

second...this is probably better asked in the MTT or even the SNG forum.

third...of course MTT's can be +EV. There are so many players who make so many fundamental mistakes (and I'm not just talking about calling all-in's with 43o in a deep-stack confrontation). there are also some opportunities to play in tourneys with overlays in the prize-pool if you look hard enough.

I was also gonna ask this but didn't know whether to gear it towards the SSNL crowd or MTT.

I play maybe 1 or two multis a month and have done pretty well in the small sample size, but I find I dislike the variance and what I perceive as a lost edge in certain stages of the tournament.

Basically, I want to know if giving up one table space of real estate would make as much or more money than one of my ring games in the long term.
