Rule Question

Blinds 50 100
UTG raises to 250
folded to the BB who goes all in for 1300 more and is covered.

Dealer screws up and thinks the BB folded. Takes all the Muck cards cards left in the deck and mixes them enough so there is no way to retain he inegrity of the deck. Both players still have there hole cards.

UTG still has to decide

What happens now>??

Re: Rule Question

I think I'd have to just kill the hand. Dealer must wear a dunce cap for one hour.

Since it's a home game you should be able to decide on a way to fix the situation.

Since they have no idea what cards have been folded, shuffle the entire deck with everyone elses hands in it and then deal out the hand. To them, nothing has changed so let the hand play out. Just one thought.

The other best bet is to probably kill the hand and redeal.
Sucks but it happens,

Yeah, killing the hand is probably the best way to go, but you could play through. After all, blind cards in someone else's muck pile or in the deck don't really change the odds, do they? You calc. the % the same either way.

i would shuffle up the deck and deal the flop, turn etc. if UTG ends up calling

Re: Rule Question

According to Roberts Rules of Poker, there are no misdeals if action has already occurred in a hand. The rules don't cover this exact situation. So I would just reshuffle the muck and deck together and deal the flop.
