6max adjustments...
 
I've always been thinking 6max as as 10max table where the first 4 people folded but is this really true? I don't think so anymore since you have to pay blind more often in a 6max table therefore you should play more hands to make profit. Am i thinking right here?

you kind of answered your own question

you should already be open raising with more hands from later positions, so if you continue to think in terms of a full 10 player table where 4 people already folded, then you will be playing more hands automatically

just be careful making these adjustments when UTG or UTG+1. maybe place the "folded" players after these positions rather than before
