Best Time to Play, Please point me towards a post
 

Just spent the last 30 minutes feeling like an idiot with the search tool. Please point me towards some discussion of what times are the best to play online. I remember an article that I can't find where some thousands of tournaments were analyzed listing the resulting ROIs for many pros.

check the # of players online...the more the better


70k+ is grrraaaaaaaavy


anything over 50 is fine.



3-9pst and pretty much all weekend

i find mondays to be the best days

"Concensus"-wise, the times I was able to find in the posts I tracked down were all over the place. Including the times listed above this reply I found (all PST):
1am-4am
6pm-1am
8pm-4am
4pm-10pm
3pm-9pm

I was about to make a joke about how now I know to play between 3pm and 4am PST. Then I realized that's actually exactly the time I play! I start after lunch with a couple sets. Lunch is around 1:30 or 2 since I get up after the crack of noon. Then I start thinking about going to bed around 1:30-2am, but almost always wait until around 4am since I look over my last few sets and invariably find that I play my best and get my best results in those late sets.

Only on leap days. The bots don't know how to handle this date in their program, they go haywire.

One needs to compare the different times at the form and limit, and site, one plays. The first half of the week, the latter half of the week icluding weekends (other than Sundays maybe), the first half of the peak time, the latter half of the peak time, after the peak time, before the peak time and in-between these last two, and the combinations.

Fridays and Saturdays are most profitable for me.
