Live 2/5 hand: Short stack pushes, LAG re-raises

I'm playing in a live 2/5 NL, 100/400 min/max buy-in. It's the only NL game the casino has, so it's pretty fishy. We've been playing about 1.5 hours, and there are about 4 weak-tight players, 2 LP's, 2 LAG's, and me, the lone TAG. Me and the LAG on my right have the biggest stacks at the table, about $800. There's one short stack guy with $85. He bought in for the miniumum, lost half of it, and since then has employed a strategy of waiting for a couple people to limp in, then pushing. He's done this about 3 times in the last 2 orbits and has picked up the pot every time so far uncalled. I should mention the LAG on my right is the most aggressive player at the table. He and I haven't really clashed yet. He seems to respect my play, and I've generally been staying out of his way since there are much softer spots on the table. Anyway onto the hand.

A couple of fish limp from early position, Shortstack goes all in for 85, LAG on my right in the CO re-raises to 185, I have JJ on the button. Me&LAG both started with 800. Thoughts?

I call because the LAG is most likely thinking the same thing that I am (the short guy is just pulling some crap again...I don't really give the short stack anything more than 8's). If he's really a stereotypical LAG, he's re-raising a crap load like that to isolate him and the pusher with something like AK or AQ. I'd call and re-raise him big (he's gonna continuation bet this) on the flop if you still think you're good.

Then again, I'm down a good bit the last 2 weeks, but is my thinking here totally off base?

I call because LAG wants you, specifically, out. Since he respects your play and been staying out of your way (as you have him) he'll be quite worried with your call, and since you have position on him i would love to call and see a flop. I'm thinking he's got 88-1010 or AK.

folding is the safe play though as Shortstack could have anything, but i'd be willing to bet he's got some of LAG's outs.
