Does my turn play suck or am I getting results oriented?

Villain in this hand is pphater. He is 40/20 and very aggressive postflop. What is your play on the turn and river?

I bet $200 on the turn and all-in on the river.

Pot flop, pot turn, pot river.

I think the Ace is a very bad river card for you. It looks like the villain has a king and is willing to just chop the pot by check/calling, but the ace has to make him very uncomfortable. If that is any card but the Ace, I would say pot the river. However, I favor a value bet for 200-300 here and get villain to make a crying call with a king.

I don't mind shoving turn

I like shoving turn as an option too, although villain could put hero on aces, but still a good idea to win a huge pot with a "lock" hand.

Your pre-flop raise will make him think that a 6 is pretty unlikely, you've been pushing all the way and I would probably put you on something like AK or a big pair. I don't think you're going to extract much more here. He has ~$490 left and will be getting 2.2:1 on his money if you set him in. It comes down to what he thinks you have. Hopefully his aggressive nature will kick in on the river and you stack him, but I doubt it. I think I bet $200 on the river and hope he takes the odds and calls.

Why not checkraise the turn against a player who is "aggressive post-flop"?

The aggressive player is in the SB .
