I think a true TAG pops you back with a bigger set here considering this is a very draw heavy board. I like a bet of 500-700 here on the turn and a nice value bet for a 1,000 on river.

I would either flat-call the flop or make it $1000 to go, leaning towards making it $1000 to go. As played pot the turn.

Why do you guys advocate betting so much on the turn? Its unlikely he is on a draw, as the only possible hand he could have that a TAG would raise is K/Q suited which I think is a stretch. Plus, you are letting hands that you dominate such as A/K or A/Q even to fold without getting any more money.

For example to get the maximum in case he has AQ. Js Ts is a possible holding as well if he's a little tricky.

If he is dropping AQ on the turn to a pot bet given the action so far, your cards don't really matter and you can never lose. Do you see why?

So you always assume your opponent has a huge draw or a great second best hand? If so, thats logically flawed. The most plausible holding here for villain here is A/K and sometimes he will have A/Q. Even if he has A/Q he is still drawing to only four outs and you want him to draw and/or have A/K to come along for at least another bet. You guys are getting greedy by potting the turn here and give yourself no out in case he is a little tricky and has a better set.

Okay, so you are assuming that he will not call a pot bet on the turn unless he can beat TPTK. And he will never make an aggressive move with less than the third nuts. Your cards do not matter. And it is impossible for you to lose. Do you see why?
