Games in the Chicago area?

Hey everyone...moving to the Chicago area and wanted to hear some people's opinions about some of the games there. The only one's I know about are the Hollywood in Aurora and Harrah's in Hammond. How are the games? Just got back from Vegas playing some sweet 4-8 at the Mandalay (I've never played in a softer game) and hoping the competetition will be similar.

Not the greatest poker city in the world, but you should love Chicago otherwise. Welcome to town.

Besides home games, those would be the only games in town. Hollywood is only open on weekdays, some Illinois law about a casino only being allowed to have X number of tables open so on weekends it's poker that gets the shaft. Harrah's is the only full time place to play poker. 5/10 games at both I found to be pretty soft. 10/20 I've played both rock gardens and games where there were a couple of players seeing every hand. 20/40 at Harrah's--the highest limit regularly available--attracts some of the best players in the metro area and can be pretty tough.
