Lets talk about Upswings (sort of a brag post)
 

Almost everday theres a downsing post so lets change that around and talk about upswings.

Whats the largest # of hands where you have been running hot? I'm currently on the biggest upswing I've ever had, and nothing before it even can even compare.

I'm a 2bb/100 winner at the 5-10 6 max over 150k Hands and over the last 31K hands (3 weeks) I've been running at 7.02 BB/100. I can't do anything wrong. And Yes I realize that eventually it will end and I will be back to my normall winrate

A while ago a poster made a thread where he had a 650 BB Downswing and people concluded that it was a once in a lifetime swing for a winning player. How did people calculate that, or was that just the general opinion?

How can I calculate if this is also a once in a lifetime upswing?

I was up 300BB in my first 6k hands at 3/6. Been running completely flat for the last 10k.

Yea, both short numbers, but I only get in 10k hands a month.

I was expecting something like 5BB/100, but over 7? That's just unreal. I'd also like a look at your stats for this run, just curious.

Oh, and your screen name, so I know who to avoid for now and then, when the crushing downswing comes, who to float to the left of and suck out on. Thanks.

I don't know how to post a screenshot but my stats for this stretch is

VPIP= 28.40% VPIPSB= 34.90% Folded SB to steal= 82.38% Folded BB to steal 46.21% Attempt to steal blinds =43.39% Won $ WSF 44.39% BB/100=7.02 Went To Showdown 39.97 Won $ AT SD 55.06 PFR 19.2%

I'm currently losing (.04) in my BB and I'm winning .01 from my SB

Hopefully this will run for a while longer

Incredible over 30K hands. No doubt your are running very good but you have to be doing something very right also.

My stats over my last 10K are pretty comparable, and I'm running at 4.3BB/100. I was surprised by my Went To Showdown being that low, but when I play I never feel like I'm folding anything with showdown value.

Maybe I can keep it up over the next 20K!! (yeah right)
