Eurobet 25-65 CPU usage every 2 seconds?

I run an AMD Athlon 2600+ w/ 512K of RAM. I connect to the internet using a 56k dial up modem which is currently connected at 50.6 kbps.

Is 25-65% cpu usage normal? It goes from 2 to 8 to 15 to 25 to 45-65 and then down again constantly. I realize that there will be some increase as they update tables, but 65%?

Yeah, it's ridiculous.
I have the same problem with all the Party Affiliates.
Running 8 tables averages the CPU % at like 70-80%.

Anyone that knows why?
