I hit my straight, how do I extract?
 

I called pre because it looked like it was gonna be a juicy multi-way pot. Obviously I had to call both flop bets. On the turn the straight hit, although not the end I wanted. I figured my best bet was to hope a set comes along thinking I am buying it, does anyone have any other extraction ideas?

You could bet 50 and leave yourself with 26 or so, but that is just as obvious. IF you wanna be technical the best bet you can make would be to give about 3-1 odds to the pot. So, 50 would actually be pretty good. Now, with that said and done, you only have 26 left and any good player would know that is gonna go in on the river no matter what falls, although I think betting 50 you will get some fish to draw to their flush or boat. It really doesnt matter, this is a very trivial point though, and I think the board just happened to kill your action, happens sometimes, and it sucks.

I thought about that, only the guy who I thought had a set only had 59 left (the min check raiser). I guess theres not much else to do though since I can't give odds to someone with a set. I was thinking about getting cute, glad I didn't.
