$5.50 - Pretty bad play with QQ
 

Villain bluffed twice early in the tourney ($5.50) and got caught both times, it almost put him out both times. PF raising was non existant the whole tourney. Still, I didn't bet enough...should I have pushed on the flop? The paired board had me a little concerned.

you had &lt;10bbs, so you shoulda just pushed pf...

but since you didn't, i woulda bet more than 1/3 pot on the flop (woulda pushed here if not pf)and more than 1/5 pot on turn(woulda pushed here if still hadn't)...he still didn't have the odds to call you, but he had 6200 chips to your 2k chips, so he was fine to call 400 at a time in order to have a chance to knock you out...and as the pot grew larger, he had more and more reason to pay another 400...

chances are he was gonna follow you no matter how big you bet, but i think you had better odds of him folding if you bet bigger and wouldn't have given him implied odds if u pushed earlier...and if u pushed pf, he very well may have folded

I would raise more pre-flop. You would then have to go all-in on flop.

Looks like a bad beat, though.

I didn't push pre-flop because these guys would instantly fold. I attempted it twice a few hands earlier, once was a (semi?)bluff with AJ and again with TT. Instant folds.

I wanted some action and unfortunately, I got it.

Looking at it now in the light of day I see how stupid it was not to just push the flop.

Push preflop, since you didn't, push on the flop, since you didn't, push on the turn. The river is the only correctly played street in this hand, IMO.

preflop: raise to 630, if villain reraises, reraise all-in.
on the flop: if villain calls, all-in the flop. you're ITM with a big pair, don't be afraid of a paired board with low cards unless you limped with Q Q trying to be cute.

Decent rule: with less than 10x BB, you're happy to pick up the blinds, so make all your raises pushes. With a minraise before you, this rule probably extends to 15x BB or so.
