If you think he has 2 overs then raise to $325.

Meh...i just changed my mind and didn't read the hand carefully enough (sounds like the way I play [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]). Anyway, I think I just call here. You have a good draw but I don't think it's as good as you may think. I'd raise this against a good player but it sounds like you have no FE against this guy. I think this guy wouldn't mind getting it all in here with A10.

Call, peel one off and play from there.

say I call and the turn is a blank, he fires a second barrel I have to fold. If I call turn is a heart, I probably don't extract much and am crushed by big flush.

I think that if I gun it out on the flop I have a small chance of him folding A-10 or JJ w/ no heart, and a good chance of him folding AQclubs or something similar.

fold preflop, with your stack, just get it in.

alllllllllllllllllllllin...you have no fold equity over most hands that beat you (except 88 or 99 or A7), but who cares.

Which is why I hate raising/pushing. A raise will make his donkey opponent push any hands he's behind and fold anything he's ahead of. It makes much more sense to become a calling station here. Sometimes the situation calls for playing this way.

Call and push any check to you and push any bet to you when you hit an out. The line is weak but against this opponent passive is the way to go.

Hands like these are the reason that a short stack is at a disadvantage over a full stack. You have no room to move. Reload next time.

Why let your opponent see a free turn card when he will fold now? Because you make a lot from when he keeps firing on the turn? I think that is a decent reason to flat call on the flop. Lack of fold equity is not very important, as you're only really behind sets and your hand is vulnerable to unknown outs.

I push the flop every day, but I can see how against a very aggro opponent calling is more profitable.

Edit: Plus your fold equity, tiny though it is, is actually more important than it seems. The better 7s he folds have you in comparatively bad shape.

is there any way I can just fold the flop? I frequently get involved in these types of hands where I hit a decent but by no means great flop, think this is a big leak in my game. I agree w/ AZK that w/ my stack I should have just folded preflop.
