foxwoods poker rate on rooms?

I know at some of the casinos in AC and in Vegas they'll give you a discounted poker rate on your room if you sit at the tables for a certain # of hours each day, and I was just wondering if foxwoods offered a similar deal. I would only be playing poker, so I'm pretty sure I could manage to get the required hours in.

I apologize if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it by searching.

Thanks

I don't know of any. You could try calling the poker room.

If you sign up with "wampum rewards" or whatever they call it, you'll get mailings with discount codes for rooms.

a friend of mine signed up for a wampum card the same time I did and he gets the mailings but I don't for some reason. I think I'll give him a call and see if I can get his info, and get the rates without actually having my own copy of the mailing, and then talk to someone when I'm there about getting on their mailing list.

Foxwoods mostly give poker rates during their big tourneys, like World Poker Finals and New England Poker Classic.

Are there any cheap motels to stay in nearby Foxwoods? I don't think I could afford the actual hotel.

There really arent' any poker rates, per se. You can use your wampum points to pay for the room. Once you start accumulating a reasonable number of points the mailings start to come and include chits for "bonus" wampum points and discounted room rates. However they are only good on weekdays.

The Two Trees is the cheapest property on FW's property. It's a bit of a walk to get to the poker room (5-7 mins) from there.

The only things within 5 miles or so is the Foxtrail Lodge, which is a BB and the Hilltop which is a upscale motel.
