shootouts on party

Just curious what you guys think of these. Seems to be kinda slick the way you get paid for each round of play. Like an advanced format of the stars double shootout. Is this possibly worth it's buy in?

Yeah i like these too. When it was in the beta testing stage the blind structure after the first table was ridiculous (huge blinds resulting in microscopic Ms for everyone at the start of the 2nd round), but they fixed it it seems now.

I don't like how you can come in 2nd by like 10 chips and you have to settle for a 2nd place prize though.

I don't recall the analysis, but check the archives about a month or so back. Look for a post on these by either woodguy or adanthar. More info/opinions in that thread.
