Lead the flop. Its probably the best way to get all your money in. Which is what you should do everytime you flop a set of 8s on that board. Get your money in FAST!

I wanted to come up with some kind of sarcastic remark but decided not to.

I thought at the time 'well he could have AQ'... but I don't think too many guys would re-raise my UTG raise with AQ pre-flop... With my big re-raise, I have pretty much defined my own hand as AQ, 88 or a flush draw like Kc Jc or Jc Tc... seems in retrospect that I need to fold bottom set here... but for only $145 more, I wanted him to show it to me... he had QQ.

been nailed twice in last 250 hands on set over set... (77 vs 99 previous time)... I almost folded this one but just couldn't do it given the pot odds... oh well.

Does anyone else never worry about set over set? It would have to be the TIGHEST player in the world for me to ever worry about it, and even then by the time I'd be worrying about it the odds are usually too tempting. Set over set losses aren't a leak.

Set over set losses aren't a leak.

It's nice to hear others support me here. That said, if Villain 1 is not a donkey and indeed seems to be a good solid player... what hand re-raises my UTG pre-flop raise, bets the pot on the flop then after seeing a re-raise and another re-re-raise decided to go all-in.... I just can't think of anything but a set here. I was thinking at the time, [censored] he has AA.... KK doesn't do that, AK doesn't do that with a board of A Q x.... The only thing possible is AQ or the RBOF (random bizzaro online factor -- not to be dismissed ever).... At that point, I was getting like 4-1 and thought that I just can't fold there... But looking back, it seems like folding is a legitimate option given the sequence of betting and who was doing the betting.

I looked back and I am 1-3 in set over sets over last 500 hands...

You are not deep enough to fold. He could literally turn his cards face up and you should STILL call because you only have 75 bb's.
