Eating Disorders

Do you know someone close to you that, or have you yourself has/had an eating disorder? A couple of replies to another thread got me thinking about this. The data I generate here will be used in my forthcoming Special Theory of OOT.

I had a couple of close female friends that purged a lot.

I don't have anything of worth to contribute to this thread. I just want to say that I'm really looking forward to this.

I know someone who used to be bulemic. She could read minds.

This one will be easier to tackle than the General Theory. Gotta start somewhere.

Yes. Two. One spent time in a clinic and was, among other things, force-fed for a little while. Both women.

My friend's sister had anorexia. Interesting thing I learned was that she couldn't eat. No appetite. Hence the tube feeding.

I have known a couple girls with eating disorders. I feel sorry for their boyfriend/husband because it is such a serious mental illness and takes its toll on the rest of the family. These girls need professional help.

I'm on a see food diet. I see food and eat it.

Two. Both girlfriends along the way. One needed hospital admission. The other is struggling with it, but may be ok with only a psychologist/specialist in that field.
