Hero leads $30, UTG calls, Villian raises to $60. Hero reraises to $180. Villian only calls.

TURN ($425) 2 players:

Hero leads for $300, Villian calls.

RIVER ($1025):

do you think he is calling you with a lone 8? that's the only draw that missed.

checking this river is very very bad. if you intend to put all your chips in the middle despite the disgusting river, YOU have to put them in. if he has 78 and will call, great, but too many people will check behind here with trip 7's. he's not bluffing a missed draw. and he sure as hell ain't checking his boat behind. so you HAVE to either push all in or check/fold to his all in and make that decision BEFORE you act.

Bet 450 on Turn, and plan to get all in on any river.

This is an excellent point. I see this mistake often and it's a logical fallacy. Check-calling in this situation makes no sense.

He's not betting more hands that he's calling with.
