22 is a good hand in this spot. Limping and pushing are both exceptable (I'll get flamed for suggesting limping), but raising 3xbb with the intention of folding is awful.

oh, i had not thought limping is an option here. oh yea, thats the last option [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

limp and fold to a push? maybe it ia better than raise 3BB and fold to a push, but still, push is a much better option.

did i make some mistake here?
fold: $EV=0.39
push: $EV=0.3658 (assuming vallian wouls call with a normal range A2+/JT+/55+)

even with tighter range (A7+/QJ+/77+), $EV=0.3805

It is definitely close, because you have 9bb after posting. That's why I like limping since it is often more +EV than pushing. Lot of the times you can pick up the nice 800 pot on the flop when your opponent misses, especially against opponents that fold too much HU (a majority of them).
