Empire comp points
 

Hi, I dont know if this has been discussed before but do any of you find it weird that the formula to gain Empire comp points from raked hands involves Square roots!!?

Surely this encourages lots of short sessions rather than long ones. Have I understood this correctly and if so are there any tactics to gain the points faster?

Been discussed about 100 times. Yes what you say is true. Empire is run by a bunch of monkeys tho so they dont really care.

Points are just points. Be concerned with more important things like money.

Cheers for the clarification and sorry for bringing it up again. Yeah I understnd they're just points but I heard the Royal Flush CLub is quite good but that seems impossible to get to at the current rate I'm earning them.

i thought the same thing. I just joined a month ago with Empire and only had earned about 1.2k comp points, then I get an email from them a few days ago saying I had been bumped to 5k points and VIP status. So, maybe if I have another month they'll do the same thing with the royal flush club, or else you're right, it's going to take forever to get in. But I was pleased with the 4k comp pt. addition to my account earlier.

Lots of people get the bump to VIP status. I've never heard of anyone getting an early bump to the Royal Flush club.
