After that call on the flop I´d be check-call a reasonable bet or check - fold on turn and river.

That flop sucks, you being OOP sucks even more. I think you are beat 70-80% of times but I have seen some guys calling all the way with something like 44 or 66 [img]/images/graemlins/ooo.gif[/img]

I would have definetely check the turn...uhmm sometimes I am a loose cannon but the right move was check the turn...for pot control.

looks fine to me. His line doesnt necessarily scream he has a jack or an ace. 1010 here easily plays the same.

I figure diamonds were also a possibility here, so I'm either crushed by Ax, JJ, or ahead of Jx and a diamond draw. On the flop, all are possible. After he calls my turn bet, I figure the latter 2 are much more unlikely than the first 2. Up to that point, though, I think I was value betting what was the best hand.

Other comments? (or critique of my thinking?)

Absent a good read, I much prefer the line taken (and taking a free showdown) to checking the turn and deciding whether to call a river bet. You played it fine.
