Los Angeles

i'm looking for cool kinda underground stuff to do in LA.

or more like a best of LA kind of thing

I wanted to do little nooks in LA and not like the hotspots or places everyone knows. Ideally places that like you may have heard, but not gone.

like an example would be pink's, but i live one block from there so i know it.

if anyone contributes anything i would greatly appreciate it

Nothing compared to the dorm that Klepton lives 100 yards away from...

For talk about eats, check out the chowhound.com message boards

A REAL group of nuts who like good grub, not a restaurant advertising portal. I haven't stopped in there in probably over a year, so I'll assume it's the same.

well I've done a pizza tour of chicago, and that group also did a burger tour. so maybe look for a good area for something, grab 6 friends and hit each eatery until you're stuffed beyond capacity, hit one more, then go home.

I went to Tiki Ti, a Tiki bar, on Sunset near the Vista Wednesday night and enjoyed it very much. New favorite bar I think. I heard they don't keep regular hours, just open when they feel like it.

Lots of cool places downtown that people never go to: Traxx @ Union Station, Cicada in the Oviatt Building are places I like.

If you've never had Langer's pastrami, you haven't lived. Langers is on 7th at Alvarado next to McArthur Park. The neighborhood is extremely sketchy but that's part of the fun of it.
