Gas

Will the price of gas stop you from going to A B&M and play on-line

The price of fuel to get there (2 hour drive) did factor in a little. But to be honest the fact I can make more playing online was the deciding factor. Also not spending 4 hours in a car was a plus.

Not exactly.

but it did occur to me how much better off I am as a professional online-player these days.

My old job had about a 40-minute commute and the price of gas even then (over a year ago) was definitely something I felt.
Today I have no commute at all since I work from home (or at the internet coffee-place down the street if I feel like it).
And I'm sure glad that I don't really have to worry about the rising prices of gas like I would have pre-poker.

On another note - Heading out to a suburb today I passed a spot where there were gas-stations across the street from each other that had a $0.50 difference in the price ($3.39 on one side, $2.89 at their competitors).

The line at the cheaper station was pretty darn incredible.

I pulled into a wawa (convenience store) the other night to get a sub while heading home and you could not even get to the pumps. There was a guy there filling up a huge mobile camper!!! Wish I had a tank that big to store fuel...

Eastern PA. Not sure how large an area the chain covers though...

Bob, you really are missing out on one of the finer things in life in Wawa. It is simply a hell of a convenience store.

It is a distant second to Sheetz, but those two are so far out in front of the rest of conveniencestoredom that it hardly even matters.
