Legends hand

You have 9K (starting from 10K) late in the first level of 25-50 blinds. You haven't played that many hands--won a small pot uncontested and folded in another when reraised.

Villain had about 14K, lost about 5K when he reraised on the turn with middle pair and lost to top pair. Been on tilt a bit since then, and generally seems very LAG; you've already seen him check raise/reraise about 5-6 times this first level.

You are UTG with AA, and make a standard (for this table) raise to 300. Villian (UTG+1) calls, everyone else folds.

Flop: KJT rainbow.

1. What's your move?

You check, and he checks behind. Turn is a 5, completing the rainbow.

2. What's your move now?

You bet 1000, he smooth calls. River is a 2.

3. What's your move?

You bet 2000, he goes all in.

Standard trap play? Thoughts?

I'd be the flop and see what happens from there.

that's not a particuarly good flop for AA.. i'm pretty sure i'd bet out there and try and get a feel for where i'm at.

I'd bet the flop, too, but I think OP is looking for advise on the river.

This is probably the spot to lay down AA early in a tournament. If you fold the winner, it's not the end of the world and more than makes up for the times you'll be looking at AQ, two pair or a set.

You've got plenty of chips left if you fold your pair.
