Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some old wsop DVD's or some other good poker footage? Do they have any unedited DVDs that are for sale? Something istead of the Same [censored] over and over and over

I got most of the WSOP main events from like 1972 to 2003 on DVD on ebay. They're not "highly produced" versions, but if you look around you can find a decent deal. I think I paid $30-40 or so for 6 DVDs with maybe 20 main events total.

The pace seems painfully slow compared to what you'd see on TV today, but it's interesting to see Ungar, Doyle, Chan, et al in their prime.

I just did a search for "WSOP DVD" and nothing came up, but if you're patient and creative, you'll find something.

Just keep an eye on ebay. I got a set of almost all of the ones that are floating around ebay a couple of years ago. Recently, ebay has been pulling auctions for "bootleg" WSOP DVD's.

the best dvd by far is the one on www.headsuppokerchamp.com - it has the whole series that was on nbc plus some very cool sports-like video montages and additional interviews and stuff
