Hand 10-20 stars vs thedonator

Seat 2: strassa2 ($2820.50 in chips)
Seat 7: thedonator ($4537 in chips)

He's a good player.

I have 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the BB. Donator opens to 80 from the CO, I reraise to $240 which I had been doing pretty often. He calls.

Flop 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet $280, which is less then I usually bet in this spot, he calls.

Turn 3s.

I check, donator bets $600, I CR all in for $1700 more.

What's the question?

Or did you just want us to see that you reraised PF with connectors?

Looks pretty standard.

Nice hand.

This move should have great fold equity, particularly if you have also played sets this way (which I assume you have), and the high likelyhood that you have QQ or JJ, given your re-raise.

This move should knock off all one pair hands, but if not, it's about 2:1 against improving, and it's about a 4:1 chance to outdraw a set.

Overall, seems like a pretty standard, if not LAGtastic, hand.

How often is a set checking this draw-heavy turn?

I dont know if you're being smug or serious, but how often are you in this spot?...

because this spot sucks.

also, was this shorthanded? if it's full i may just let him steal my blind. shorthanded no way

The turn I like alot.

Obv repping AA to JJ, and I think he'll believe it, unless of course he has one of those hands... That said I think he folds KK and worse.

against an aggro opponent who will try to move me off my hand on the turn w/ air, semibluff, or XXX i will check a set/overpair etc. with the intention of raising all in. it's pretty standard...

I don't think donator folds top pair here.

With "seat 7" I'm assuming full, but could be wrong, If it's full, I'm not a big fan of your play, meaning, playing a big pot, oop, vs. a good player, when you're known to reraise from the BB hence he'll give you even less credit. If this is shorthanded, then I would say standard play.

if that's true, you'd think he wouldn't advertise with his name so blatantly... i like the play, it seems standard.

How is it a donation if he's making the correct call?
