Poor call?

Final table of a $25 + $2 tournament on Empire. Villian had not been terribly aggressive, then suddenly starting pushing everytime I was in the big blind. The third time it happened, I called with KQs. Mistake? If so, what range do I need to call this bet?

These three hands occurred within 3 minutes of each other:

Re: Poor call?

I would probably have called there too, given the close proximity of action and size of your stack relative to the inital pot and the stacks of the others.

You can't allow yourself to get bullied. Three hands in a row is a lot. This guy might have only done 3 in a row because he knew you'd be likely to call on the third. I know I've done that. I'd make sure I had notes on the guy. I would have been worried about a weak ace there and being a 60 40 dog, but I still might have called given the cirumstances. You have to balance the need to not be bullied and play good hands with the strong recommendation of never calling an all in bet without a supremely powerful holding.
