Looks fine to me... standard even... what is about the line that you are unsure of?

Converter...

That said, I really, really, really love leading into the PF raiser on this board with someone in between if he is aggro at all. If you get set over set, that's a sahame, but NH.

Fold preflop.

Given that you were in the hand on the flop, you played fine. You bet the pot and then pushed your remaining stack in. Nothing you can do against a higher set.

You're kidding, right?

Maybe I'm missing something. Hero is first to act with 55, facing a 5xbb raise, correct? There aren't enough people in the pot to pay him off when he does make a set (Granted, he got action this time). What happens when the flop comes with 3 overs and 2 face cards? Lead and fold to a raise? Chip spewing.

Easy call PF. Check/fold when you don't hit a set, that's easy enough. There are easily enough people n the pot to pay him off here, because you only need one.

Check / fold? You don't have to win every hand you play...

I'm surprised by this response. Maybe there's a leak in my game. I always fold mid-low pocket pairs from EP when I'm facing a decent raise unless there are at least 3 other people coming into the pot with me. It doesn't seem like a call could be profitable. 7 out of 8 times you lose $4.50. The one time you do make your set there's a good chance you won't get paid off if villain has missed overs. And even if he hits, it's not guaranteed he's going to put his whole stack in with only 1 pair.
