BAckgammon Games

I want to test out my backgammon skills. Are there any sites that someone can recomend that allows players to play for money?

preferably 1 on 1, I don't want to enter a tourney if I don't have to/

Try GameColony.com, not quite as nice but its a little less infested with sharks. Truemoneygames.com and GammonEmpire.com are also options but I havent played as much at those two.

What limit do you want play? Do you use snowie, GNU, jelly fish ? I would say relative easy games gamecolony and Gammonempire, neutral truemioneygames, tough games gamesgrid. But i should tell you that sometimes you have extreme good players for 3$ matches and that nearly any good backgammonplayer is starting to play poker.....more and easier money..........but backgammon is the better game.

I play a lot at GammonEmpire. For me is the best and you can play 1 on 1 as much as you want.

The problem is that they have a rating, if you are good and over 1900 points no fish play you. And if you play your rating " down" gammon empire make trouble.

What you mean makes trouble? The problem is that if you play your rating "down" you lose money!

Try GamesGrid

I only play poker there on occasion, and all I know about the backgammon there is that they have a banner ad on their Poker Lobby stating they have Backgammon games available.
