Think of it... everything comes easily to you, you are always perfectly satisfied, perfectly happy and at harmony with your surroundings.

Oh, and it goes on forever.

Don't you need challenges to be truly happy and fulfilled?

Yeah, the key thing here is that it goes on forever. The Economist in me thinks that without scarcity, there's no reason to do anything.

I know. But a lot of people speculate as to what Heaven might be like.

Usually it's a paradise. I don't think I've ever heard it described otherwise.

If it is in fact a place that has its own challenges and isn't just "the good afterlife," then how is that different than this world?

Also, if it were utter paradise, I wonder how many people would be happy there for eternity.

Perhaps there is some capacity for experiencing happiness and pleasure that we as mortal men cannot understand yet.
