Bisonbison converter issue...

I asked this before and someone told me to take out the first line of the HH and it will work... well it says its an incompatible hand history or something when i do that.. Heres what happens when i try to convert a HH:

Party Poker (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, Hero folds.

River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Button folds.

Final Pot:

Re: Bisonbison converter issue...

I don't think he has updated it in a long time.

My suggestion is to either find a new one or start posting the whole hand history, which is much better for no-limit anyways.

Re: Bisonbison converter issue...

I seem to have luck with them by importing them into Pokertracker and then copying out of Pokertracker.

Remove the word "Texas" from the top of the hand-history, I think that will fix it.

Doesnt work for me......and I keep seeing this from people who say "I think" which leads me to believe they dont post HH through Bisons converter. I would like to hear from someone who does.

Thanks

I do indeed post HH that have been run through Bison's converter. I said "I think" because that is the fix I have used before and I was confident enough that it would work without running a HH through right then to make sure.

Now here is a HH I pulled from PT randomly, without modifying it:

Party Poker (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
7 folds.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero calls 39.13 (All-In).

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
SB checks, UTG checks.

River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
SB checks, UTG checks.

Final Pot:

Here is the same hand, after removing the word "texas" from the top of the HH.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter

UTG ($49.25)
UTG+1 ($13.80)
UTG+2 ($61.35)
MP1 ($86.45)
Hero ($39.13)
MP3 ($99.25)
CO ($56.15)
Button ($50)
SB ($77.25)
BB ($55)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG raises to $5, 3 folds, Hero calls $5, 3 folds, SB (poster) raises to $10, 1 fold, UTG calls $5.25, Hero raises to $25, SB calls $14.75, UTG calls $14.75.

Flop: ($75.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero calls $14.13 (All-In), SB calls $14.13, UTG calls $14.13.

Turn: ($117.89) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
SB checks, UTG checks.

River: ($117.89) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
SB checks, UTG checks.

Final Pot: $117.89

Re: Bisonbison converter issue...

Also, no matter what I tried I couldnt get the emailed histories to work, but the ones from PT worked fine after removing 'Texas'. I didnt look to see what the difference was, but that is my experience.

Re: Bisonbison converter issue...

Nod, I should note that I have not used the converter for emailed HH's at all, only HH's pulled from PT.
