Fairfax, VA

Does anything remotely close to this town resemble a card room????

Nope. Atlantic City (4 hrs) is as close as you'll get. There are home games (and apparently a club in Baltimore), but I don't know much about them.

As a resident of that fine city, I can tell you no.

Its AC for anything real (there are freerolls at some bars around town, but thats it)

An Attorney from VA travels to Caesar's In a few times a year to play. He says it is just about the same distance as AC.

Not from Fairfax (which is in Northern Virginia, VERY close to D.C.). Virginia is a huge state, so from some parts, this guy would be correct.

Okay, I don't remember where He was from and I should know better than to believe an attorney anyway.

They're trying to get table games added to the races/slots in Charles Town, WV (in the panhandle, about an hour away from the beltway.
