Best Ravens home game to see in 2005

Ok, so my dad lives in Baltimore and I live in crappy old North Dakota. I love footbal in general and im mainly a Falcon and Raven fan.

I get to pick one Ravens home game to fly out and see (3rd row corner of the endzone). I cant decide so i made a poll.

Which would be the most entertaining ?

This could depend on a few things. If weather is a concern which I would go early in the season. And I guess it depends on what kind of game you want to see. I seen the Bills play the Browns last year at home and it was a blowout, but I loved it. If you want to see a nice close game I would go with the Steelers. If not then the Browns should get stomped on.

well i have to decide before the season starts so he can get tickets and plan ahead for it... but i couldnt decide just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which game would be the best (fun, even-matched, get-your-money-worth- game.

Steelers and Colts are the two best teams on that schedule, IMHO.

Of course, they may be too good for the Ravens. :P

The Steelers-Ravens game may decide who wins the AFC North. Gotta go with that.

I probably would go with Green Bay. Probably Farve's last year and MNF is always cool to attend.

If not that than Steelers since its a division game.

my top 4 choices now...

Im thinking Indy on opening day would be fun and a night game.

GB - Farvres last year and a Monday Night game.

Vikes - Christmas day (night) game, and the Vikes are the most local team to here so i would like to see that too.

Pit - big game in the division.

PIttsburgh at Baltimore is always on of the hardest hitting games between any two teams all year. The fams hate each other too so you will see some fired up people.

Other than that I would go with the GB game. I don't think going to see the first game of the season is a good idea.

If the Vikes are your local team then you will get both the Vikes game and the GB game on your local TV. Balt-Pitts will probably not be shown in the midwest.

Easy choice. Go to the game 10-2-05 and take me with you. I will entertain you as much as the Jets will.

The Colts and Jets games... if you want to see the Ravens lose.

Btw, is the drug dealer in camp yet?

If you are any kind of ravens fan at all its a no-brainer- you go see them whoop the steelers. The crowd gets animated and the team cares.

Remember the last game of the regular season two years ago, when billick took flap for keeping everyone in in that meaningless game with the ravens playing a playoff game the next week with tennessee?

[ QUOTE ]
The result became meaningless when the Cincinnati Bengals lost to Cleveland earlier in the day, clinching the division for the Ravens (10-6). Division champs for the first time in franchise history, Baltimore will open the postseason Jan. 3 at home against the Tennessee Titans (12-4).

Because the game meant little to the Ravens, no one would have blamed Ravens coach Brian Billick for saving Lewis for the playoffs. But the starters played to the end.

"I am surprised Coach left me in the game," Lewis said.

"This is the Pittsburgh Steelers," Billick said. "You can't cheat the game, you can't cheat the fans."
