Re: For all the 5/10 6maxers, is this a routine river fold/call?
looks like a fold. This is the kind of thing where you were showing strength, so for him to lead into you is probably not a bluff. You'll probably get shown 87 if you call (thats my guess) but he could have some sort of club-draw-turned-into-good-hand or whatever. Seems like a strange way to bluff if he did miss a draw.

Erm, I check the turn unless I've been playing very aggressively of late. I fold the river when he leads. Fairly routine assuming no read.

I also play the hand differently and probably have a different image than AZK, but he didn't provide us with that. In a vacuum I think its a fold. Why is it a call. |

bet there at the end is wierd, seems like a line I might take if i flopped two pair(against lag)... Or a 10 up into the river... 910c? I'll call hoping to see j10.
missed the flush easy call. |
Re: For all the 5/10 6maxers, is this a routine river fold/call?
I think missed clubs alone is enough reason to call this river, getting around 2.5:1.

Re: For all the 5/10 6maxers, is this a routine river fold/call?
I call the end because I have TPTK and I'm weirded out by the bet. I wouldn't be too surprised to lose though.
I sometimes check this turn through. It depends on the player, and unremarkable doesn't say enough. |

Why don't people like the turn bet? I thought betting air should normally be continued by betting when you actually hit?
