I probably play this exactly the same way, get angry when I lose, spend the next fifteen minutes at the table trying to determine what else I could have done, and resolve that the answer is nothing.

Nice hand.

I'm not sure I understand this flop bet.

Against two live players I think we'll be ahead pretty often and I don't want this to check through. Overcards aren't that much of an issue, though, so I think a flop check is probably fine too.

MP3 has TAGish stats on the slightly looser side and raised preflop and it wasn't an open-raise. Why don't we want this flop to check-through? I'm not trying to be all Sklanskyish with my question posts, I just don't understand what the flop bet accomplishes.

So are you advocating checking with the intention of raising, or checking with the intention of calling and evaluating further action based on the turn?

And....I think this should be folded preflop.

I was thinking of check-calling with our 5-6.5 outs (however you want to discount them) and seeing how UTG feels about the situation.

I would fold pre-Flop. MP3 is raising two EP limpers, so his raise is legitimate meaning you will frequently be dominated. You aren't closing the action pre-Flop and you are also in terrible position relative to the raiser, which will leave you in many sticky situations like this one post-Flop.

I don't see the point in the Flop bet. I would check and take a look at the action, then probably call. I think you played the Turn and the River fine.

Preflop you are getting a million to 1 to call, yes you will end up in crappy situations like these and you should be much less inclined to go crazy with less than the nuts...

It is awfully multiway to bet the flop, I think I check here and hope to suckout.
