Butchered this one ...

So, posting this as an example of what not to do when you flop a big hand...

Pokerstars $5 NLHE multi, early on, level 2 or 3
Me in LP with 66, Opp has about 2/3 again my chips, and has been fairly aggressive, raising PF and taking down the pot afterwards. I think I saw one showdown where he had AK suited and won a race.

3 limpers and OPP min raises. Folded to me, I just called. I figured min raise after limpers meant a pretty good hand (AA-KK, AKs, maybe AQs) but if I could get an overcaller or two I might be getting the right odds. 2 of the limpers and the BB called, so that worked.

Flop is 6 3 3, the 6 and 3 were suited.

Action is check, check, check and OPP bets 100.

Tried again for overcallers, but nobody bit. HU now, turn is an 8 or so.

OPP bets 300. I think and think, then call. I was hoping to represent a draw, and I was planning on min-raising his bet on the river to try to get him to go all in, if the river was a brick, but it was the 5 to match the suit on the board, and he checked.

I bet 150, he called with AA and was *so* relieved not to have lost all his chips. I, on the other hand...

I think next time I'll try the min-raise "bluff inducer" on the turn, when he still has a hand he thinks might be the best. At least, even if he doesn't get all his chips in on the end, he might be more inclined to call a larger bet on the end.

Or maybe you have a favorite way to get all your opponents chips when you flop a monster and think your OPP has a good hand, that you'd like to share...?

alot of times I will bet out here, than check raise all-in on the turn...

or if he raises , I will call, open push the ( none club) turn.

IT looks more like a hand like 1010 feeling out the situation.

Did the villian then proceed to say "Man, I hate aces, I never win with them."?

Gotta love the minraisers. LOVE EM!

I think that would be good if I was first to act, but I'm behind him.

Call flop-reraise all-in seems like a good way to get him to fold on the turn.

I'd really like to goad him to putting in all his chips thinking he's ahead, not counting on him calling my all-in.

Thanks for the reply, though, I'll remember that.

I thought you where a blind here sry.

If he put in a normal raise I would think that he might be good enough to fold a over pair here. But since he mini-raise after a few limpers, I think he is a donk that will go broke with AA.

They mini-raise to get action with there monster hand givem all they can eat....

Let's start with this: that raise + a $5 tournament = 2 cards.

And this: from what you put him on, you have the implied odds if everyone folds right now (but I do like that one of the limpers folded to a minraise. God bless him.)

Once you have those two things figured out, proceed from there.
