What to do when pushing is +$ev but > 10BB

This is a general question with the assumption that you have a good read on your opponents call ranges and you have plugged this plus all stack size info and blind sizes into SNG Analyzer and your hand is better off being pushed than folded by a reasonable margin however your stack is say 15 times the big blind.

For the poll let's also assume you are on the button (although please provide comments on playing this UTG, CO, SB if they differ)

Some more detail: This comes up often when the BB is 100 and I have a decent sized stack of say 1500 with maybe 6 people left and I do have at least 1 player who can cover my all-in bet but I have reasonably good cards.

Perhaps we should play poker?

depends on too much to even consider listing. usually though, i just make a raise between 2.5bb and 4bb, depending on the hand in particular. other times, i push. sometimes i fold, since well, being +ev by just pure ICM is often a hairy sort of deal in these situations.

Yeah, I tend to agree but the perception I get here is that many and maybe most 2+2ers would push anyways. I do think that standard raise is more +$ev than pushing in most of these cases but obviously much harder to determine.
