i'm going to turning stone with some friends on thursday the 11th. anyone going to be around? any possibility of getting an omaha or stud game going? my friends want to play poker, but i'd rather kick myself in the balls than play hold em.

stud, maybe. there's usually a 1-5 running and every so often they get a 1-5 H/L

i thought i'd read in other threads that the omaha doesn't generally run at ts. the one time i was there before when i asked to start an interest list they wouldn't do it. is that typical?

hahahahah nh

typical, yes. I try to start an interest list for Omaha H/L EVERY TIME I'M THERE. It never gets off the ground. sometimes they say no, sometimes they just make a list and then wipe it after a few minutes.

i'll be there thurs thru sun, no omaha for me yet though. Haven't gotten to where I'd be comfortble playing for serious cash.

I'm 3 hours away and would go up on a weekend sometime if we prearranged to get an Omaha hi-lo game going. Is $3/6 or lower OK? Do their dealers even know it?

And most importantly, can I beat up on the $3/6 hold 'em for enough to be able to afford losing to y'all in Omaha? [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
