Limit player looking to play some NL

Ive been pretty successful at limit (30/60 party mostly), and want to start playing some NL, mostly just for a change of pace.

Can anyone recommend me a good book (or website(besides this one) or something) on NL strategy? Is Super System 2 the best NL book out there? Ive heard mixed reviews of it.

sorry if this isnt the place for this post, I wasnt sure where to post it, but I figured that since I plan on playing high stakes NL this would be a good spot.

I don't play high limits, but I'd still recommened starting out at 100NL or 200NL at least for a while, just to learn the basics of ABC play.

Also Theory of Poker is supposed to be good.

I haven't read it yet, but I'm trying to start my dad on it, but GSIH has a NL section, that would probably be a little helpful for someone with no basics in NL...

For cash games?

I liked "How Good is your Pot Limit Hold 'em" by Rueben. It walks you through a ton of hands and rates your answers.

The original Super System if you want to read about crazy aggressive no-limit.

This and Theory of Poker the best books out there. Worth their weight in gold.

Re: Limit player looking to play some NL

I recently switched from limit (5/10 6max) to NL. Overall, I've found the games to be a little easier, with lower variance, and I'm having a lot more fun.

I started a little over a month ago at NL100 and have already moved up to NL400.

In terms of books, I still really like Super/System, not so much for the specific advice on how to play hands, but more for the overall philosophy Brunson preaches.

Good luck at NL, see you at the tables.
