andy b book question
 

As many of us know Andy B is writing or planning on writing a book like SSHE for stud. I was just wondering when this book is going to be available. Will it be in 2005, next year, or whenever? I have not heard of this book outside of the stud forum so I don't think it is coming out tomorrow. Please let us all know, because I think many people are interested in hearing about this book. A simple not for a year or two would be just fine.

Sounds like I'd better get to work.

I think I'm in the middle of page 4. Something like that. Nothing is going to get done on it this week. There's a reasonable chance that I'll chip away at it on Sunday. At some point, I'll probably contact Ed to see if 2+2 is even interested. If they aren't, well, there are other publishing companies. Anyway, I don't have a timetable at this point.

two things:

1st: 2+2 should get you book if it is as good as your posts. I will buy it but I also expect you to sign the copies for all of us regular posters.

2nd: I think there should be some sort of collection of greatest posts/threads maybe not in the book but it should be compiled some how and in your research for the book it maybe easy to come up with this.

FWIW, I'm also considering doing such a book and have had one solid offer from a publisher, however the advance was lower than I was willing to accept. It's possible I will actually write it in 2006 for publication in 2007 -- but alot depends on whether stud really does make enough of a comeback to make such a book worthwhile.

I like the signature idea. I was laughing hysterically when I got my TOP copy and it was signed "Beat Pokerstars, David Sklansky"

The third, and best, possibility is that stud will gain in popularity among the many new HE players and there will be plenty of room for both our books.
