Pokerchips.com Cleaning Question

In trying to clean these up a bit I was wondering what I should use in addition to water? The water seems to bring out the color on the sides, but once it dries up it gets a little cloudy again. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks

I've had a set of these for 6 years. To clean them, I soak a rag in warm water with a little dish soap and rub each chip clean. I even started using an old toothbrush on chips that are really dirty (time consuming but effective). But, do not dump them in a tub of water. If you do that, they'll get very cloudy all over.

If you do get fading after you clean them, you can get the color to come back by putting a little mineral oil on a rag and rubbing them. Sometimes after you do that, excess oil will bead on them, and you can just wipe that off.

Hope this helps. BTW, the guy who invents an affordable automated chip cleaning machine is going to make a mint.

Use a tiny bit of mineral oil. It will bring out the color nicely and last longer.

Check here for pics of the difference it makes Link

Eventually. I only have about 60/700 done so far. And I started at work! lol! When I get a decent number done I surely will!
