Button A5s - decisions on all streets
Aggressive 3-handed Party 20/40 game. Two opponents are both LAGGY but decent- they seem to make some kind of play for practically every pot (donk bets, bluff check-raises, etc.) and will usually follow through on bluffs. All kinds of action. SB can be pushed off a marginal made hand, BB can not.
I raise from the button with Ad5d. They both call. Flop is Td 9d 5s. SB bets, BB raises, I flat coldcall. SB calls. Turn is Qh. They both check to me, which is weird. Bet or take the free card here? |
Re: Button A5s - decisions on all streets
I really like 3betting the flop. I think the hand plays differently from there.

Do you bet with bottom pair/nut flush draw, or take the free card? I did check behind on the turn for myriad reasons. The river came Tc, making the board Td 9d 5s Qh Tc. SB checks, BB bets. The pot is 7 BBs. The BB's river aggression over 800 hands is 1.76. Is this a call? |

I'm curious as to why you're still playing at this table? [/ QUOTE ] Having fun, mostly. I like it when 3-handed play gets really laggy. And these guys weren't all that great. They way overplayed all kinds of hands, and were very vulnerable to check-raises. Probably not the best table selection, but I was okay there. |
